For a break from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech, you can take a day trip to the beautiful Atlas Mountains, where you will experience the natural side of Morocco. A tour of the 3 Atlas Valleys will take you through various picturesque landscapes. Along the way, you will also have the opportunity to experience real Berber life by visiting the village of Tahanaoute. Continue to Ourika where the view is an incredible succession of natural elements that flow in this valley, under the great mountain. The sound of the water flowing through the river, completes an experience of peace and relaxation. Setti-Fatma, is the small village of the area and the starting point for the trekking activity. A guide will accompany you to discover the waterfalls of the river. In total there are 7 of which the first is easily accessible and allows you to discover what this location has to offer, however, you can continue the route until you see the remaining 6 by going deeper into the mountain. The route is not advanced...a little adventure and a few jumps here and there. Along the path that the river has formed in its course, there are several restaurants and cafes to refresh yourself and enjoy some typical Berber dishes. We continue the route towards the Asni Valley and the Kik Plateau which will provide a breathtaking view for incredible photographs. We finally reach the Lalla Takerkoust lake an oasis of tranquility away from the incessant tumult of the red city. Created in the 1920s to provide Marrakech with water and electricity, this lake is now a popular destination for nature lovers, water sports and those seeking serenity. Return to Marrakech along a different route, offering you another view of the mountains.
